Energy Events is an Allstar cheer and dance competition company founded by Stacy Greer and Katie Rutherford-Taylor in 2023. With extensive experience as athletes, coaches, and parents, Stacy and Katie understand the importance of creating competitions that go beyond results. Their aim is to deliver an exciting, high-energy experience for athletes, coaches, and spectators alike. Energy Events prioritizes fun, community, and lifelong memories. As they continue to grow, their mission is to expand across the UK, offering competitions that everyone looks forward to each year.
Stacy Greer

With 28 years of experience as a dancer and nearly 20 as a cheerleader, Stacy Greer has represented Scotland at the Cheer and Dance Worlds for 10 years and coached the national team for 5 years. A skilled coach and choreographer, she led her team to a gold medal at the IASF Dance Worlds. Stacy has also been deeply involved in the growth of SportCheer Scotland, serving as a board member since 2019. Her commitment to the sport shines through her roles as a coach, judge, and competition organizer.

With 27 years of dance experience and nearly 20 years competing in Allstar cheer and dance, Katie represented Team Scotland at ICU in 2019. She holds a BA Hons in Drama and Dance and has judged various dance events across Scotland. As the founder and director of KR Management, a leading UK talent agency for young performers, Katie’s passion for nurturing talent continues through Energy Events, where she aims to provide opportunities for Allstar cheer teams of all levels across the UK.
